Not bad for an ebay purchase

I was browsing ebay for an A2 buttstock and stumbled upon this and jumped all over it:

"Your looking at a Bushmaster A2 Buttstock. Bushmaster stock grip and Rifle Handguards.
Stock comes complete with Tube & Buffer Spring. A2 trap door, sling swivel.
Includes lock plate and lock nut."

I got it all for $100

Unfortunately, a few days ago, I bought a delta assembly, HG retainer, and set of handguards separately. Those will eventually be up for sale here on CG when I get em.

I didnt think so. Then again, this isnt the first firearm related item I have purchased from ebay. Im just surprised some anti didnt flag the auction before I had the chance to act on it. Looks like I got away with it (knock on wood)

DUDE! - excellent find. Yeah, I'm surprised someone on ebay didn't see these EBR parts and wet their pants from sheer terror.

There is a live.com promotion where you search for some common ebay item (eg "apple ipod") and it gives you a link where you get cashback for an ebay purchase that you use "buy it now". Right now you can get 10% cashback. For a while (around black Friday and earlier) they were running 30%-35% cashback.

You can also get cashback from other stores here.

Technically, eBay doesn't allow the selling of firearm parts that are required for the gun to function, e.g. triggers, bolts, firing pins, etc. and mags. From what I've seen, stocks, PGs, VFGs, handguards, etc. are all fine. I have seen several auctions where sellers declare in large, colorful print that the item doesn't violate the policies, etc. because I guess they've been flagged for it recently. I have seen a few guys get away with posting mags and other items, but they usually get flagged and I think the transaction gets cancelled if it gets through, but I'm not sure on that.

A furniture set for an AR shouldn't be a problem. Now, if it had a barrel shroud/a shoulder thing that goes up, THEN you'd be in serious #2.

I don't believe eBay allows any so called assualt weapon parts regardless of whether it's required for the function of the rifle or not. EBay cancelled one of my auctions many years ago for a Colt AR-15 scope mount....I think it was the "AR-15" that flagged it just like any M14 parts should be listed as M1A.
