    "Pasadena Turners" not so helpful

I had two guns on consigment and were sold two months ago i was told by the manager that i should receive my checks with in a couple of weeks this was 02/23 i still havent received anything.

I called them last week and asked them if my checks were ready the manager said yes they were mailed on 03/03 and i should of received them so i told him nope nothing yet. The manager called there "Corporate Offices" and said that the guy in charge of the checks mailed them so i told him ok thanks.

Nothing yet with the checks so i called them yesterday and the turners manager said oh let me give corporate offices a call so he did and i waited on hold minutes later he said "um your checks are still sitting in the desk but i'll call you tomorrow to verify with you". He also said sorry about the hastle but the guy in charge of the checks was fired. Great

So today no phone call so i called them today again and they checked for me another manager checks again and said yeah we sent out your paper work yesterday and the corporate offices are closed today. You should receive your checks in two weeks they cut checks every two weeks.

There customer service sucks never again will i do bussiness with turners. All this time and there know sending in my paper work for my checks. All of the 3 times i called they B.S me They never give me a honest just the whole "well let me check" and "you should of received them"

Just needed to vent some steam off. Any one know of any gunstore near the San Fernando Valley that has a good selection of firearms. Im in the market for a springfield 1911 thanks.

Whew, thank goodness. We haven't had a new Turners thread for at least a day or two. I was starting to have withdrawals....

Why would you let them take... what? 20% from you? Could you not sell them here on CGN?

Instead of using the phone, go down to the 'corporate' office and pick it up yourself. Two months is way too long and not appropriate.

Fort Courage Armory is in Simi Valley. It's just a few miles outside the SFV and it's not in LA County!

They're a joke. I got zero service when I wanted to check out a couple of guns they had in the shelf a month ago.

It's pretty easy: ammo on sale, guns on the shelf, accessories at discount= Turners. Anything that requires an attention span= BAIN AND DAVIS IN SAN GABRIEL. Immediate service (almost), knowledgable staff, good Joes.

Just shop for the rights stuff at the right place.

Oh, and Pete at B&D will usually bargain a bit.

Turners guys usually do what they can, but make NO commissions, are paid crap (just above minimum), and are continually short-staffed. The dudes are usually not bad guys; it's the owners.

2nd that. I live in SFV but am delighted to make sure as many of my purchases are outside of the city and county as possible.

What will they do - stop clearing the weeds and the trash from public areas?
