Good plinking ammo for a lever gun?

I have a Marlin 1894C in .38/.357. I'm looking for some decent plinking ammo in .38spl. I've got some Miwall reloads I picked up at the Cow Palace (SWCs), and those seem to feed pretty well. What else should I try? I know spitzer bullets aren't a good idea for lever guns, but what about TMJ?

Also, for whoever else is reading, is it me or is the Miwall new 9mm stuff a little on the hot side?
