I would just use one of these fat bore brushes in .458 from Brownells:

Yeah I've been using those and havent had an issue. It's just I like to use the right tool for the right job if I can help it. I have OCD like that. LolI would just use one of these fat bore brushes in .458 from Brownells:

The chamber for a .458 SoCom is .530-.540 in diameter. A .458 bore brush will scrub the bore not the chamber. A .50 cal bore brush would be closer.NRA Endowment Life MemberComment
