I've noticed that on NCIS New Orleans, safe gun storage and handling seem to be empahsized...note the locking of guns into cabinets, etc. That attention to detail is pretty rare in Hollyweird...most shows include pretty unsafe handling, but of course the guns are props.

Years ago, I was watching a documentary on VH1 about violence. They asked 1 of the producers of Natural Born Killers if the film played a role in the growing violence in America. Her response, "It's not our fault that we live in a country that allows people to own guns." Go figure.
