Alot of the ones I've seen In OC and LA county give out Ralph's Grocery gift cards. And even then, it was $100 for handguns and rifles, $200 for assault weapons. Good luck though.

Put it in the Marketplace here for $220, I suspect it will sell quickly.

Most buybacks only give $200 for "assaulty" type guns, for pistols & regular long guns it's only $100. And they're typically in the form of Walmart or Safeway giftcards, not cash.

Thread the barrel and glue a vertical grip to it. BAM! ASSAULT WEAPON per CA law. Go collect your 200 bucks

Or add a 2x4 buttstock to it and turn it in as an SBR- super assaulty.

Try selling it here first as kcheung2 says above.

There are a few here that collect these types of guns.

            Good luck.

Make sure to paint it black as well

If it isn't a jammamatic, you should keep it.

Davis Industry weapons I believe were from Chino California if I'm remembering correctly. They are also one of the ones on the list of one of the worst ever manufacturers if I recall.

There was some catchy name for the list but I'm old and I forgot what it was. EDIT: Just remembered "Ring Of Fire"

My old Davis 380 was actually very reliable. A lot of us collect Ring of Fire pistols just to piss off the antis. Most aren't nearly as bad of shooters as the keyboard snobs like to push...

                          They can be unreliable...

which is why you should sell it here. We have lots of amateur gunsmiths and you could give them a cheapie to practice on.

P.S. Gun buybacks pay in store gift cards. That will not help your som get a better gun.
