    ammo question

    I have some old boxes of ammo that my dad bought in the mid 80s at federal ordnance in el monte and I have no idea what it is? On one box says 7.9 and the other is in what looks to be arabic. Here are a couple pics.

      The one on the left looks like 8mm Mauser, FNM is Portuguese manufacture.

      Dont know about the other, 8mm Turk maybe?? All that Turk stuff is corrosive...

              Left Portuguese, right Egyptian. Both are 8mm Mauser.

                  Thanks everyone. Now I just need to get something to shoot it. What kind of accuracy can I expect from these rounds? Also what kind of acuracy can I expect from a k98?
