    S&W Bodyguard Deals?

So my girlfriend first said she wanted something shiny for her B-Day/Valentines present (both in Feb).... now I got her steered toward a shiny s&w bodyguard revolver.

Turners has the revolver she wants for (with a CT lazer) for $490...

Does anyone know of a better deal to be had (or someone that price matches) in the North SD county or Temecula? I hate Turners (I have no patience for their "game"). The only benefit for turners right now is I can put a little money down (I'm a little cash light after paying back credit card companies for December ammo purchases), but IMHO the little money I save is not worth the "pain" (turner's waiting game & weird procedures).

Looking to purchase early next month.

In closing... this is not a straw purchase. I'll be paying but GF will be doing the dros.

Dunno about deals, but lasers suck and avoid putting it on CCW as a "Primary" gun.

What's the issue with CCW on this gun?

It's not an issue with CCW, just running a class as a primary gun can be painful for those not familiar with revolvers.

Taking test with only 20 or 30 required rounds for a add on isn't bad, though I still recommend a revolver class before the test.

Price isnt bad with the crimson trace lasers. Good choice for CCW but that gun is not a very fun gun to shoot though. Hurts your hands after a while. I have a S&W 642 and have shot 100-200 rounds at a practice session but 50 rounds is about the most I enjoy shooting at a time.

            Well....

I would call each shop within a reasonable distance, and then say the words you typed above....

If the shop wants to deal, they will sell you gun cheaper than turners.

If they don't want to deal...call the next shop on your list of shops to call.
