I sent back a scope with illumination that wouldn’t power on, they fixed it. The model was Mark AR mod 1 but it wasn’t a battery leak. They told me I didn’t need to call just send it to them.

Send it to Leupold. Their service is great and very forgiving. I send them what was left of a scope (3 pieces) when a rifle blew up. I got a brand new scope back. Hard to beat that sort of service.
Being that yours is electronic may make a difference but maybe not.

They sent me parts to a scope mount for free when screws loosened up and fell off.

They did a free parallax adjustment on a fixed 4 power scope once for me with free return shipping. Really over the top service. I spent the last 30 years helping them sell scopes.
