    Gun Shows at Cal Expo

This is my first thread here, so please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

I have notice on both Crossroads of the West and Cal Expo's Web sites that there are no gun shows scheduled at Cal Expo this year. Does anyone know why?

Save your monies and go to the big one in Reno.

the last McClellan show I went to was very small, wasnt even worth the price of admission, at least they have free parking.

mostly guys selling cheap knives, cheap holsters, cheap aftermarket magazines, no surplus, not even one sks, one guy had a few WW2 Carcano rifles, no M1 Garands, no M1 carbines, nothing

just common everyday retail store / gun store stock.

          Gun Shows at Cal Expo

The thing is, most of the good stuff at the Big Reno Gun show can't come back to California. Now not even Ammo.

I agree, the McClellan Gun Expo is really small and have no selection, and now that the DOJ is slow to grant licenses to ammo vendors, there won't even be ammo there to buy.

My main question still stands though. What about Cal Expo? Did they stop having gun shows there? There are none scheduled all year.

Why? They can't sell you anything off roster so what's the point?

Yes, it looks like everything is unfolding according to our legislature's plans: gun shows in Cali will be dying off quickly and quietly.

There's lots of other items (hard to find mags, parts ect) interesting old stuff. At least you can fondle that forbidden fruit. Have a nice meal make a day of it.

Reno or other large out of state show for parts or C&R which is legal in Ca.

Even years ago I couldn't get any more basic Chinese SKS or AK parts at a Crossroads in SoCal.

Would be a nice road trip.

                    Gun Shows at Cal Expo

I found out why there are no more gun shows at Cal Expo.
I went to the McClellan Gun show today. It is so small, I hate it.
But while I was there I talked to the knife guy that I see at all the gun shows and he told me that the owners of Cal Expo, "The State of California" raised the price they charge Crossroads of the West to $30,000 per day.
So it looks like the State is taking even more steps at gun control that they don't need to vote on.
