Has anyone been questioned about ammo while coming back into CA?

Has anyone tried to buy ammo online and get it shipped to an FFL yet? How did it go?

As I predicted, WalMart has the same prices now as they did last month.

wal-mart is probably the only non-firearm related store that will not change prices for ammo even after all the new regulations.

they sell too many other things in the store that the extra cost will be absorbed by the sporting department as a whole as part of doing business.

if anything, by not raising prices they will probably secure more sales of ammo as gun stores raise their costs especially once the buyer registration and background check of ammo starts next year.


EDIT: Oh and btw, i doubt anyone that is bringing back ammo illegally will even post anything about if they got questioned or not. only those with their 03ffl+coe will even mention it, and it is way too early in the year to even ask. most on this forum has bought enough ammo to last at least this entire year.

The NCIS background check doesn't happen until next year. I'm not sure Walmart is interested in doing that yet?

Wife and I were on our way back from Phoenix and she asked me.

"Have you given me enough ammo this trip or do you want to stop and buy me another gift."
