Battery powered lighting for gun safe

I bought a sturdy safe 36"W 27"D 72"H and I'm looking for a battery powered light solution. I opted out of getting an electric hole drilled in the safe to increase it's fire resistance. I'm open to buying parts and wiring it my self. I saw a few light strips that had a magnetic switch and would turn on upon opening the door of the safe. I like this idea better than a motion switch.

I used to be a bells and whistles guy but over the years my taste in equipment has turned more toward simplicity.
Three manual push button lumen settings, magnetic as hell and rechargeable-$20 bucks at HD.

Opted for similar.....stick-on (or Velcro) LED lighting module. Just tap the switch, not a big deal.

Simple, bright, cheap and easy to use.

Not as techy as the fancy lights but it works really well.

I also have a couple of those, work great, but just one in the safe.

On the bottom half of the safe I have two of those puck lights HF also sells. They come in a set of three, two light levels, can be stuck on with Velcro or screwed or have a magnet glued on the back, and the light itself is angle adjustable and rotates 360 degrees. I think the 3 pack was like $12.

That is great, but I'd really like the instantaneous triggering of the light upon opening the safe. It's definitely a better option if you keep electronics in the safe, they'll stay charged.
