    swap meet anyone?

Is there enough interest to organize a swap meet for parts and accessories (no guns)?

I suspect there's a few of you that have accumulated firearms related stuff you don't need anymore and they are collecting dust and/or taking up space.

    Thoughts and suggestions?

If it included only C&R weapons and absolutely no dealers --

We already have that, it's called the "marketplace" section here on CG If you weren't so far away I'd check it out if you got one going.

Ya a swap meet with a bunch of regular folks, and no dealers would be awssome if enough people would commit and show. We talking bay area or So Cal?

We can do one in Norcal and if the SoCal members want to do one, they can go ahead and organize it.

It can be totally free or we can collect $5 donation to CGF per attendee.

Most probably a one day meet and on a Saturday or Sunday.

What are you thinking? Having it at a member's residence?

You might be able to find a Kiwanis Hall or something similar to rent for not much $.

I think a swap meet is a great idea.

Sounds great! I've got a bunch of stuff I've been thinking of getting rid of, but hesitate to do so because of shipping hassles.

Anyone coming to my AK build party is welcome to bring their unwanted crap. I may just put some things out for sale myself.

I have a friend who owns commercial property and has one vacant retail spot about 1000 sq feet.

Me thinks I can get him to give me the keys for a Saturday or Sunday (most probably Sunday since the surrounding buisnesses will be closed). All we need is tables to display stuff or just put things on the ground.

                          It's in Sacramento.
