I think there are four Wal-marts around here that used to sell it. Now there's only one in the area. I saw one of the ammo cases the other night that used to have ammo and it's full of scopes, etc. now. Kind of made me sad.

Lodi store , changed to lesser amount of 22 box's you can buy
used to be 3 box's of rim fire per customer , any size box..50's or 100's

      now...2 box's of rim fire and does not matter if your buying 2 100rd box's or 2 50rd box's

      I asked... so if I buy 2 100rd box's...total of 200rds....I'm good
      but if I buy 2 box's of 50rds total of 100rds......that's it ?

yes Sir.... I just work here.... :0

I was in there last week, bought a 1000 round brick of Winchester .22 LR in a black box. A brick is a box, next time I think I will buy two bricks...

Not mine, the one at Imperial and Harbor (Fullerton) pulled all of theirs. They said it would be on sale at the Beach and Imperial location only. I’m guess they didn’t want the hassle being a smaller store.

In case you decide to buy ammo at Big 5 for some reason I wanted to know the price of a box of .22's and was told they have to call a manager because they weren't even allowed to touch it.
It didn't matter that I showed them the penal code.

              Could be worse.

                  Ehhh...Not really?

But its a great price for local store. After tax its still about 20 cents a round.

Last year, the best online deals after jumping through all the hoops had 9mm at 15.6 cents without rebates and 12.4 cents with rebates- I bought 2500 of Federal 9mm brass for $314 after rebates, giftcards, and coupons- total, shipped to door.

Walmart in Santee is still selling ammo. Salesclerk said they got all of the stock from Pine Valley. Grossmont Center (La Mesa) Walmart and the one at Parkway Plaza (El Cajon) will no longer sell any.

Riverside Walmart is done with ammo. The storage cases are now being used for airguns.

I noticed Corona Walmart on McKinley raised the price for the 200-round 9mm Federal Aluminum boxes from $34.44 to $35.86. You may as well just buy two boxes of the 100-rounders for $17.46 to get a total of $34.92.
