The only thing that has changed (that is, until the CA DOJ gets their act together and releases their new rules) is that you cannot go to a store that sells ammo and pull the quantity you wish to purchase from the shelves. A store employee has to do that now.

The other new effective restriction is: No internet ammunition sales to CA residents (it had been only a citywide restriction in certain cities, Los Angeles being one).

(Yea, I know that 98% of you already know this...)

POINT BEING - I just stopped at LAX Ammo in Ingleweed and have brought home another 2.5 days of practice .45 ball in the form of 500 rds of Winchester white box 230 grain. Yay.

And, always be shooting ammo. In the words of the Inimitable Dave McCracken: BAUUR - Buy Ammo, Use Up, Repeat
                .

Walmart has always been a convenient mid/low priced B&M ammunition outlet for those who don't reload and for those who don't buy or buy a lot online. What's your problem with them? Sucks?

I've never bought any ammo from Walmart. That's because all Walmart's in Alameda County could not sell ammo.

I've always ordered online from SG Ammo and TargetSportsUSA and buy in larger quantities and they get shipped to my door. The days of ordering online will definitely be missed as well as some decent deals from private party sales.

At least you have a grasp on the situation. All this fuss over "where to buy my ammo now" stuff is because some people DID NOT PAY ATTENTION! We've been discussing this for how long? The have's and the have nots. Simple.
                          This just gets tiring, really.

A more important question might be, "Can you deal with less range?"
