Heading to Cottenwood AZ after Christmas for 10 days. Anyone know a good clean public place to shoot rifles and handguns?

Also any good place to shoot sporting clays?

In between Dewey and Cherry, there's a dirt road that parallels highway 169 on the north side. I shoot there along with everyone else in the neighborhood. Forest service road 323.

The last time I was in Sedona, which is only about 20 miles from Cottonwood, I stopped by the sheriff's office and they directed me to a safe and legal place to shoot.
