Muzzle Brake recs

Any recs on a cheap and effective muzzle brake ?....Any sales leads would be appreciated.

ebay had some made in america ones. they ranged from 25-75. i bought one at 40 and im happy with it. and after a year of shooting the finish is still the same and no issues to report. also strike industries has some affordable ones as well

I just ordered a Core 15. All reports I've read on it have it being extremely effective. Not obnoxiously large or loud either. Found mine for around $70. It may be also considered a flash hider though so not sure how that affects you guys in Cali.

*EDIT: After running this comp for over a month now I have to correct my previous statement. This thing is LOUD. Very effective, but LOUD.

I've got 4 brakes from Kinetitech. All work great. Very pleasant to shoot with the sound redirecting sleeve attached.

I did some looking a while back after watching the YouTube guy who compared effectiveness. Kind of better than just going by maker' claim.

For inexpensive: Strike Industries "Jcomp"

More expensive: VGB "Gamma" or "Epsilon" about 3 times the price of above. YMMV.

I was only looking for Nitride finished and all three ranked very well in comping and braking.

Just Google xyz for sale. You will see the best of available deals.

I have two muzzle brakes from Harrell's Precision. One is on a .300 Win. Mag. that recoils less than a .308, and the other is on a 6mmbr, that allows me to spot my own shots through my scope. They are only $30.00, but you will have to incur the cost of threading the end of your barrel.
