    9mm at Walmart

So I decided to run by the Santee walmart to see if they had any 9mm in stock.. To my surprise, they actually had like 20 or so boxes sitting on the shelf, but I couldn't find any workers so I decided to walk around a bit and then come back. I was thinking I probably shouldn't leave because somebody might come in and snatch it all up, but I did anyways. About 15 minutes later I made my way back, and there was some guy buying ammo. What do you know, he was buying 9mm, and not just a little. He bought 70 something boxes! I was starting to get kinda pissed, I thought he was going to take it all. I asked "Is there going to be any 9mm left?" The guy kinda laughed and said there were still a few boxes on the shelf and that I "got lucky". I wanted to ask him what he was going to do with it all, or where he was going to resell it, but I figured it wasn't my business. Anyways, I still got 10 boxes so it all worked out. I almost blew it though! No wonder ammo is so hard to find.

Never walk away from ammo at Wal-Mart nowadays.

Obviously you have never seen 200 lb women in action at Wal Mart on Black Friday. They would have butt-bumped that boy into the next aisle and he would have been lucky to get a short pack of 22 lr.

I have stood at the ammo counter, yelled at any blue shirt within eyesight to get me help at Sporting Goods, and told ahyone who approached that I'm next in line for ammo.

Kind of like serving yourself at the Golden Corral buffet.

This walmart always has 40 cal in stock. They rarely have 9mm, at least it's not displayed if they have any.

ive learned to get the merchandise when you have the chance even if it means finding any employee and telling them you need help. this weekend at the palmdale walmart i saw two very big women run or at least im sure it was the fastest they could move over to the frozen section to get a giant tub of ice cream. then when there was none left they were pissed. ive never seen any one get that mad about a giant tub of ice cream. i thank god i didnt have any of that ice cream in my cart they probably would have crushed me for it.

So how much do you think this guy will try to sell the ammo for? 15 bucks a box?

It won't sell for that price here! At least not yet!

I was talking to friend just yesterday about the daily rise in ammo prices. He believes today's high prices will be a bargain a year from now. I hope he's wrong but I wouldn't bet against it

How much cheaper is 9mm vs. .40 at walmart? (I don't have a 9mm...but I have a Glock23 that can be converted to 9mm. Just curious how much it is compared to the .40)

usually its about $2 maybe $3 more expensive, just depends on what you get and were you get it.

wait just 1 second. there were 20 boxes. other guy bought 70, you bought 10.

                            20-80 = -60

Walmart has roughly -60 boxes of 9mm! oh lord!

yeah, you never should have left that ammo shelf. you should have just screamed until a worker came over.
