Corrosion X - Anyone else using it?

So saw the bar of truth Corrosion X and Ballistol youtube and amazon-ed a couple bottles of it for trying out.

Well I find it stays on surfaces really well - preservative. It also works well as a penetrant and helps loosen stuck screws. It was able to get under some corrosion inside a 22LR barrel and allow me to bronze-brush/clean it out. So I think I will keep it for those uses.

    Downside is the odor.

It is mineral oil CAS [8042-47-5] and Hydrotreated neutral base oil CAS [72623-85-9] which is similar to my go-to Otis O85.

Anyone else have any pros or cons on using it?

After i clean my guns /ballistol/ and lubricate them where they need grease /TW-25/ I give them a wipe off with light corrosion X /, some of the internals too/. Inside of my gun barrels are coated with Corrosion X as well.
I work on boats, corrosion X is very good fighting corrosion in salt environment. The odor does't bother me.

I have used the Corrosion X for different things on my firearms and it has worked well.
I use other solvents/oils usually for general work.

I do not worry about the smell
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I've been using it for a couple of years now, love it.

I've worked as a chemical blender for 20+ years, the odor does not bother me.
