All I am overstocked with 223 ammo. Not looking to make money on the deal but how do I reduce my inventory in the coming year. Should I post quantities for sale here and hope there is a middleman to handle the transaction? Just curious how I would dispose of excess quantities.sigpicComment

No really I shoot lever and revolver more than I ever shoot AR platform. I've had enough of the bands and the political crap that go with the 223 I'm getting rid of it all. But not till after the first of the year.Comment

Sales of ammunition by unlicensed sellers would have to be processed through a licensed ammunition vendor, in a manner similar to private party firearms transactions, and ammunition obtained over the Internet or from out of state would have to be initially shipped to a licensed ammunition vendor for physical delivery to the purchaser pursuant to a background check.Comment

You can only sell 500 rounds before you'll need to get a state issued permit. Selling those 500 rounds FTF will cost you or the buyer a $5 fee per transaction at the licensed ammo vendor you choose to handle the transaction. If you wish to ship it to your CA buyer it's game on the vendor can charge whatever they want to handle the transaction.Comment

Screw your ammo laws.
Lol.
If they passed a law that said you had to take your wife
to a dealer and pay a fee before you banged her,
you'd do that too. Hell, if there was a 5 time per
year limit, you all and your wives would be planning
those special days out because big brother told you
it waz da law.Last edited by CAsubject; 12-21-2017, 5:58 PM.Comment
