    AR Stoner?

I assume AR Stoner is Midways "brand" but does anyone know anymore about them? Who is making these parts for MW? Anyone use any of their products, more specifically barrels?

I have an upper that works great. Good fit and finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy any of the products

Wouldn't surprise me, in fact I was thinking they look a lot alike in the pics. For what its worth buying from BCA is cheaper!

Stoner is not Midways house brand, but I think that is the only people who openly carry thier stuff. The barrels are made by ER Shaw IIRC who makes a lot of peoples barrels. I have a friend of mine who has one he bought on some sort of sale and so far its been a solid performer. Not "match grade" but not crap either.

Looks like they buy or bought through Satern:

            from another forum:
While chatting with some peeps I know who work at MidwayUSA the subject of AR Stoner came up. Apparently a majority of the parts and barrels are made by a small company in Iowa. Satern Machine Co. MidwayUSA purchases large lots and resells them. Some parts may be available for less going direct but some are not. As far as quality I have never used any AR stoner rifle parts other than mags which are made by another company (C products from the similar looking markings on mag bodies).

Just wanted to get this tidbit of info out there, I know satern machine is making most of the barrels and bolts as well as uppers for them.

I bought a few of them two years ago to see if they are worth anything. My kids shoot em on lowers I built and so far we have had zero issues.

I bought an AR stoner bolt carrier during the panic in 2013. It came in a bag with a sticker from SMI, their main webpage gets an error when loading but this page with a pdf of their catalog loads ok

I returned an AR Stoner bolt carrier that was the most out of spec POS I had ever seen. Wouldn't buy again based on the quality of that.

I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

I have a AR Stoner 7.5" AR barrel on the pistol. It was all I could find a few years ago. Works fine but is a bit heavy.

I have the stainless fluted 16in barrel for 3gun and it works great but finish is average to ok.

I would get this one Instead. It's nitride.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
