IMG_20171205_153657082.jpgOut of curiosity I picked this up at the auto parts store.

Yeah.. Lucas has been making a BIG move into firearms related petroleum products... oils and grease...they have a great reputation with their automotive products. They were handingout product at the last GSSF match in borro canyon and I got some of their products in my registration bag from the Western Regional IDPA match last month...

I have been using it the last year or so. Works great, smells good. The CLP is awesome. They make a red tinted gun oil thats a bit thinner for winter/cold weather use. The gun grease is really good too where you need a bit of that.

I never overthink gun lubrication products, and I certainly think there is a lot of snake oil out there, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it, depending on the price...

wasn't a fan of the red oil, but ill keep an open mind to anything new.

Lucas is supposed to be good stuff, however i just use it for stabilizers/ additives.

I have used it and think it is an excellent product. I use it for all of my competition guns and have never had any problems..IMO it does not burn up like most lubes do when running guns hard.

I almost picked some up the last time I was at O'Reilly, but ended up buying the boy a Hotwheel's instead. I might pick some up next time based on this positive feedback.

I am interested. I do use their oil stabilizer in my work van.

It's great and the Lucas Contact Cleaner works really well too.

I haven't had a reason to give it a try yet. Slip 2000 EWL has been good for me for the last handful of years.

I have heard good things about Lucas gun oil though.
