Just a heads up. If you enjoy botac's customer service then you will be satisfied with lapolicegear.com. I ordered, waited, e-mailed, waited, left voice mail, waited, waited, then cancelled my order....

I had good service from lapolicegear on 5.11 stuff. They are located in in the hills by Valencia. I don't know if they are affected by the fire.

Quartermaster stores also carry 5.11.

I've ordered three times from LAPG and have been totally satisfied. Your actually the first I've heard of bad service with LAPG but doesn't matter, any buisness needs to handle their customers right.

Trust me, no one can touch Botac and their service horror.

I'll certainly update this thread if they do get back to me as I don't want to put people off a good business. It is interesting that a couple of folks have posted that they have always gotten good service from this company. In this case they have been totally unresponsive to e-mail and telephone calls and it is worth warning fellow shooters. I hope it is just a blip.

I ordered one item from them about 4 months ago. It was "in-stock". 3 weeks later I called them. Eventually I got the item.

Yes, I put them in the "botox" category based on my one experience.

Quatermaster seams very good so far. I had a problem with the order as they'd discounted a promotion but were still advertising it on their Website. It only took a couple of e-mails and they apologized and honored the promotion. Looks good to me.
