Cleaning Patches?

Cleaning patches seem like a dumb little thing but some of them just suck. They don't absorb well and/or are super thin and shred or leave lint all over the place. I've been using Brownells brand of cotton flannel patches but they're up to $39/1000 for the 2.5" x 2.5" size.

Anyone have a recommendation for decent patches for less? And/or is anyone ordering patches off of Amazon and can recommend them? I saw these and may take a shot.

And yes, I know about cutting up old t-shirts. But I'm about out of junky crap I can cut up.

I like Pro-Shot flannel patches. Get them on Amazon or at LGS.

I usually buy 3" and cut them to the size I need. Often I fold in half and cut them into four squares. Only $28/1000 at the same link.

working around the holes and cutting as I go, I most often use old tee shirts that will no longer hang off my back.

If you're out of old t-shirts hit up the local garage sale and buy two or three for $5 and you have a years' worth of patches. I've tried lots of store-bought patches and none can match an old cotton t-shirt.

I use Pro Shot patches for my personal weapons. At the Armory we use Brownell's flannel which we get for a good discount. But, then again, we're buying 10,000 or more at a time.
