Gun Safe Found in Apple Valley

A Winchester Gun Safe was found by SBCSD deputies in Apple Valley. They are looking for its owner. Unfortunately, it is now empty.

The pried-open safe was found empty in the middle of Tonikan Road. Deputies wonder if it may have come from outside the community

Good lesson for all of us: bolt it down!

Not sure why the scum bag thief did not take this to the recycle yard. Might be 20 bucks there.

Obviously it was not safely secured.
