Don't rapid fire them in case a bullet gets stuck in the barrel from a squib.
If the bullet lubricant has crystallized they will be difficult to chamber.Comment

I have some .22 of similar vintage and older.
I have tried to shoot some of it, but lots of the rounds failed to fire. I don't know under what conditions it was stored for all those years and honestly some of it is likely older than I am. It might have got damp or too hot or ???Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.Comment
