    327 shooting high

Had a good range session today. Shot 150 38 spl thru the LCR and 150 rds of mixed H&R and a few 327 thru another.

Target was 10 yd out and I was using 6 o'clock
Shots were above the 3 inch shoot n see.

Possibly finger was getting sore. I have never fired more than 50 rds of 38 spl in one session.

Next session I'll just shoot the 327 to find out more.

    Sight is factory.

Heavier bullets generally impact higher at short ranges from pistols.
This is because the gun will have more muzzle rise from a slower moving bullet and the heavier bullets in any given cartridge will generally move slower.

Most pistols are zeroed for a 6 o'clock hold on a 25 yard target. No surprise it shoots high at shorter distances.
