Does anyone know of a gun range near the IE that has 100-1000 yard range with grass prone shooting areas and possibly shaded? I am looking for a new range to shoot at and one that can possibly host my rising long range club. Long range competitions would also be a plus.

Pala goes out to almost 1,000 yards. It's the only local one that I am aware of.

There is a place for shooting prone. Whether you'd call it "grass" is questionable. Bring a shooting mat.

Pala is concrete flooring or a wobbly wooden bench that sags. You also shoot up-hill for anything past 500 yards.

You forgot to specify an air conditioned lounge, bar, restrooms, and covered parking.

1000 yards, grass, air conditioned shelter over the grass, good looking Hooters employee working her day off running a drink cart, another good looking Hooters employee working her day off giving foot massages and pedicures....

ive been long range shooting in the desert sugar sand and sticker bushes prone for the past 5-6 years, need a break from the rugged; thought this was CA which should have a badass range like in Wyoming
