    TulAmmo at Lytle Creek?

I did a search and couldn't find a conclusive answer. Apologies if this has been answered before.

It's about time for me to order some ammo and I'm debating whether or not to get some AE brass or Tula .223. I've had Tula before and it shoots fine in my gun, but was wondering if Lytle Creek allows it? I gave them a call earlier and the people I talked to weren't sure, they said to bring it and they'll cut it. However I cannot make that drive out there anytime soon so was wondering if anyone has shot Tula there regularly.

I will be there in the morning I will ask a few of the staff. PM you tomorrow afternoon. I think I have a box of Tula 223 and 9 I will take for them to review.

I have shot Tula and Wolf in my ARs at Lytle creek with no issues at all. They do restrict steel core during fire season.

The reason they cut the bullet is to see if it has a steel core in it. Steel core ammo sparks when it hits rocks and starts fires.

If it's basic FMJ stuff you're fine.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

Its my understanding that its not just "Steel Core", its also the Bullets with the Steel(Magnetic)Gliding Metal Jacket. I went to a local range with a Box of .45 Auto and the Magnet stuck to the bullet. Imagine my surprise. So if a magnet sticks to the Bullet itself(not the case).....probably a no go.
