Seems legit. But personally, I would prefer the door to be on the other side because I'm right-handed.

I saw them at Ontario, I was tempted but the $70 price tag kinda pushed me off.

I thought $70 was a hell of a deal knowing I no longer have to worry about AW Registration, continually opening and closing the darn rifle eventually having sloppy fitment. Works for me !! I couldn't be happier !!

Do the previous "featureless" stuff like the FRS stock, or the Exile stock, Grip panels, etc. no longer hold water? I Can't keep up with California's crazy laws.

The featureless stuff still hold water if you want to neuter your AR. With the Compmag, you can keep all the cool features including the standard mag release button. One really cool feature that sold me was you don't have to do any machining either to install or remove. There is one hold down screw, so if you leave the state where standard mags are legal, it removes without out messy complicating machining.

              That's cool.

I'll still keep my rifles featureless going forward so I can still do quick mag reloads if needed. There is no way you can do any quick reload with this device.

                I'd rather have this:

Looks pretty sweet! Of course no AR-10 / SR-25 compatibility yet.

However, methinks this will be near the front of the line for smackdown when the legislature gets around to it. It was clear from my perspective they intended the action to be disabled when reloading.

Funny, I had that. Did not care for the quality or flexibility to remove down the road. I have one BNIB with the ejection port adapter if anyone wants to purchase.

I'm talking about the future. I realize it's legal today.

                          Love it.
This is at the top of my list for a fixed mag option right now.

It doesn't look physically possible but it would be great to see it in a 10 or 20 round mag configuration.

I like this option if it passes the fixed mag requirements. The fact that you can easily drop 10 rounds in with out an additional device is great. I'm sure if this fly's making a loader won't be that hard either.
