His common sense is sorely lacking. Otherwise it would be common sense to ban bars because people drink and drive.

Ban rental trucks because someone may use one as a weapon.
Ban knives because they are sharp.
Ban sticks as they are pointy.
Ban doctors as we have an opioid crisis.
Ban phones while driving if it just saves one life.
Ban pools because they are wet.

After all the above is just common sense.

I hate celebrities who do not understand what the heck they are actually saying.

It's too late. If they're making such uneducated, ignorant statements then they are already a lost cause. You can't fix stupid and there's plenty between the 2 of them to go around.

In today's news 50 million US gun owners have never shot anybody.
