    Info on 7.62x39

Anybody have any info on lacquered 7.62x39 head stamped 711 87? I'd like to know what it is and the current market price. Thanks in advance.

That sounds like some Norinco that I have, but it has been a while since I've shot any of my stash. I might dig it out of the closet when I have more time this evening to check.

7.62x39 prices are crazy right now, so $0.30/round seems to be what people will pay for it. I'm glad I have a chunk from way back when.

Norinco may not be the correct answer. I just checked mine and it's stamped 71 93.

Actually, from this website, it looks like you have some genuine soviet ammo.

What would get some more cheap 7.62x39 ammo back in this country? If we had a different person in the White House, one who wasn't an enemy, could the Chinese ammo ban be lifted and we get some more that way?
