Tungsten is a medium grey, I had a firearm coated in it. I liked it but it wasn't nickel look. I would go with the satin/shimmer aluminum or the bright nickel color.

I wouldn't coat the bolt with anything it may cause malfunctions. Tungsten is a great color I will agree but maybe consider Armor black I have had great luck with it. Remember how much hardener you mix affects the sheen of the finish.
