      Glock,
In that price range take a look at Swift scopes.. They are rather cheap and hold up very well.. The glass is rather good quality.. Check them out.

Do you have any places I can look at them?

I would vote for Swift or BSA over Barska... But whatever works for you...

If you are in the market for really cheap glass, despite all the warnings being given by more experienced shooters, the bare minimum I would consider is Simmons. Their "top of the line" stuff is minimum entry level acceptable and will work OK until you can move up. I have looked through all the Leaper's stuff, and despite the fact that the company owner is a really nice nice guy, I can't recommend their optics for anything other than airsoft or pellet guns(non-piston).

I would not do the simmons route, too many customer complaints. I have a leepers 5th gen, it is decent on a .223. It is better than BSA. I just got a nikon buckmaster 6X18 bdc for $300.00 and WOW!!, those are optics!. Also, look at a mueller tacII. Made in japan and super strong, nothing but positive reveiws on sniper central. The nikon is not as trick looking, but it is amazing.

I have had really good luck with Bushnell Banner scopes. I have 1 swift scope and I like it just fine. For the guns I hunt with its Nikon or leupold. I also have a shepherd on my 300 Win Mag.

go to sniper central and read the posts on scopes. If you post, watch you language, the moderators are all super proper born again talibaners if you use words like "damn" or "**** " , I kid you not. Still a good site for info though.

I have one on a 30-30 and it does fine, really clear glass and good in low light.

Is it the one with the bdc? If so how accurate is the bdc?

Nikon makes excellent glass. Where you do you think Leupold gets their lenses from?
