Youtube Gun Channel Dramafest?!?!

Is anyone else getting tired of the drama in the youtube gun channels going on right now, honestly it's getting a little old. It'd be nice to get to the real issues at hand. Thoughts?

Ya... he's been going off half-cocked ever since the NRA's statement on bump fire stocks.

I honestly haven't checked any of his videos in months... Hickock is the only one I subscribe to. I like Colion Noir, but a lot of the gun guys are blowhards.

Im not dedicated enough to notice anything on youtube, as i only look up stuff I'm interested in buying and watch the vid..I see a lot of channels whining and complaining about stuff, but since I dont make videos, or really follow anyone close enough I have no idea.

I did see 1 guy going off his rocker about how slide fire stock videos are all being removed from youtube. Yet if you did a search there are crazy amounts of old and new videos.

I can't say I watch every iraq8888 video, but i saw what they said in the round table and it wasnt bad.

I don't like Yankee Marshall but he's right about not letting bump fire stocks become regulated. the same discussions have been going on here with the people who want more laws and regulations and those that don't. only difference is video versus text.

I agree with that post, but ranting and raving about doesn't do anything.

I watched the entire roundtable and it was a too many cooks in the kitchen situation. The drama is mostly between Iraq and Yankee the problem is some things were said by chad and eric that if taken out of context sounded anti. Yankee jumped on these comments and accused Iraq8888 isn't fully no compromised 2A guys.

I know Eric and Chad are all for the 2nd they just weren't as vocal as Tim from MAC he was loud and no compromise.

That Adam guy is just a opportunist of tragedy and kept repeating that if you join the NRA and vote him on to the board he will make the changes to fix the problems.

The absolute worst part was that rand CLP guy who clearly did not care about having our rights infringed "as long as business is good, I don't care what passes."

I watched about 30 minutes worth of the gun collective collaboration. I liked Macs stance a lot. he knows what's up. seems to me Yankee is throwing a hissy fit after further research. but even a broken clock is right twice a day. that said taking things out of context to vilify is a regressive tactic.

You wanna give us a little more information? What is the nature of the drama?

My understanding is it’s mainly centered around the Las Vegas shooting and NRAs response...basically NRA said to duck and run, told ATF to basically do its job and re-review the bump stock as a full auto device. Then the gun channels started fighting about the NRAs stance. After that a bunch of NRA, A rated senators/representatives introduced the bills for rate of fire enhancing devices I think it’s HR399 or something like that. That’s when MAC made that video where he went off about republican turn coats.

Then all of this infighting started.

I subscribe mostly to some reloading guys, FortuneCookie, Bacon, Elvis, Johnny, TRD etc. Some of those guys are mentioning about YouTube changing their policy regarding advertising on gun channels, but really no drama.

These guys all seem pretty well grounded.
