Easy there Tiger. If it was that simple, I would have done it. I'm in the San Jose area, and they are in Elk Grove. They are about 115 miles from me, which is why I'm asking before picking the FFL.

I've bought from Bob at MTG a while back and didn't have any problems. Can't remember if I ever did a PPT but don't remember any BS.

I've done several ppt at MTG, however, never more than one firearm at a time. I was refused once because they had no room in their safe. Went to shooting shack, 2 mins away. I have a shotgun in jail there now - they are quick and friendly. Good guys working the counter.
