Machining a muzzle brake

I was just wondering about machining a muzzle brake is it worth it or is purchasing a ported muzzle brake just easier??? I have a cylindrical muzzle brake with no ports around the brake. There are small ports at the tip of the muzzle brake. It handles recoil great and doesn't gas everyone out. Thanks

Unless you have a mill buying a new one in the style you disre will be cheaper and easier. May I ask what is driving the desire to change it if your current one works well?

To be honest no real rational reason behind the change. The brake I have works great. I just get into these kicks sometimes with all these different manufacturers putting out all these different muzzle brakes. I appreciate the response. Thank you

Your better off buying a vise. Barrel vise jaws. And buying them online.
