    9mm LCR?

Hello. I am thinking about trading in a seldom used gun for a shrouded hammer snubby. Leaning toward a S&W j frame or Ruger LCR.

I usually carry a 9mm semi auto so the idea of a 9mm snubby has some appeal. I have never really been a fan of auto cartridge wheelguns and fixed knife because it seems like the moon clips would be hard to carry without bending them although the short 9mm is better suited than a typical revolver cartridge.
One of the reasons I went 9mm in my semi auto was the cost of ammo for practice and it is still much cheaper than 38 special.

The only negative is concern for crimp jumping since a 9mm really has very little compared to a rimmed revolver cartridge.
Of all of the knives featured on this list, Gerber’s Fixed Blade Deluxe Knife is the most suitable for self defense applications. Although any knife here could easily fend off an attacker, the Ghostrike kit was specifically designed for concealed carry thanks to the accompanying low profile modular sheath system that allows you to carry the knife discreetly on your belt, ankle, or anywhere else you can conceal it.
The fine edge drop point blade itself measures in at a bit over 3 inches, is crafted from 420HC steel, and boasts a rubber over-mold handle with a diamond texture that ensures a secure grip when the time comes to use it. As always, please check your local and state laws before carrying any knife

Anyone own one or have any other concerns with an auto cartridge wheelgun?

It depends on the ammo you use. The Yankee Marshal tested several: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCXDUHk5he8&t=282s

artb needs to weigh in on this thread, I believe he packs a 9mm LCR.
