How many off-roster guns were destroyed in the California fires

I wonder how many off-roster handguns and (registered) assault weapons were destroyed in the fires now burning in California.

Be sure to ask your doctor if depression, rectal bleeding, and suicide are right for you.

In the United States a person's expertise on a subject is inversely proportional to their knowledge of the subject: The less they know about something, the more they become an expert on it.

I'm going out on a limb on this, but I'm going to speculate the families who lost their homes in the North Bay/Napa area aren't going to have time to post about the lost of their firearms.

                      .

who f***ing cares? people lost EVERYTHING. homes, businesses, employment all gone in one night. we still dont have a solid number on how many people lost their lives, and most of the fires remain under 10% containment. moreover the displaced people are going to have one he11 of a hard time finding new housing/employment while their property is rebuilt, if it is ever rebuilt.....if you are thinking about guns lost you don't really comprehend just how bad the situation is up there.

Most of California thinks gun owners are idiots. You are giving them proof. Thank you.

OP, I belive this is an honest question and in no way meant to ignore empathy toward the victims of the fire.

To answer; I doubt we'll ever know, though I'm sure it's about the last thing any of the unfortunate fire victims are thinking about right now.

Entire communities have been lost, including not only homes, but businesses, and community infrastructures.

First thoughts should be on getting the fires under control and getting help/assistance to the many thousands affected. This disaster is rapidly approaching the scale of the recent hurricanes in the west Atlantic. It will require a similar amount of recovery aid to put the lives back together. Only then, will anyone involved start taking count of the non-critical personal items lost.
