Even more shocking than the liberal media...

Getting info wrong on guns after a mass shooting are the conspiracy theories from professed experts getting stuff wrong on guns when they put on their tinfoil hats.

Thing I've heard most have been...

"Stephen Paddock was too old and infirm to shoot an AR 15"...lol.

"The concert venue was too far"....I did the math, it was about 412 meters from the firing position to the center of the venue.

"That was definitely a belt fed weapon, I could hear it I spent 3 years in the Marines as a truck driver bro." Anyone who has fired belt fed weapons can tell you the rate of fire was too slow and inconsistent to be a true full auto belt fed.

"Those booolits couldn't have passed through multiple targets." Dumb, at those distances xm193 is going only 1600 fps, bullets are going to retain weight at this velocity.

"That much bump fire would have made the rifles too hot and would have broken down an AR 15." Guy had 10 rifles ready to go and all seemed to be high end very reliable and guy was found dead with one glove on his left hand.

"How did he get all those guns up to his room without suspicion?" The bellhop he gave $100 isn't asking questions of a high roller in a comp suite. Maybe I would draw attention because I'm 34 and wearing a Leupold t shirt or something, but not that guy.

What I thought was slick on the libs news reporters part was at first it was 520 people injured. By the next day it was changed to 520 people wounded. Still don't know haw many were injured in the mayham and how many were actually wounded.

These conjectures are even worth the time to look at them.

I've spent the last couple days listening to all the conspiracy vids on YouTube and man I want to see some hotel vids already! Haven't seen one yet of the guy in the hotel.
I was watching one guy that was saying there were three shooting spots. It's very JFK.

Also no mention of how many rounds were fired, how many left unfired in the room? It would seems the LEO first few tasks were to compiled the statistics?

There were at least two potential shooting spots, two broken windows, one facing the airport another the concert.

There is so much wrong, across the board.

I guess no one knows they have suitcases with wheels. Perhaps we should ban those, heavy capacity transport devices.

I also heard that he "modified" the caliber to make the firearm more deadly.

In one of the linked photos you could see a stack of what I counted as 13, 100 round surefire mags. He was planning on being there a while. They said he fired at least 200 down the hallway at the security guard.

So profound OP. You should start dupe threads every time you have a brilliant observation.

I had to walk out of a store in Vegas last Monday before I stated laughing at the guy pacing back and forth on his cell phone talking about the 2000 yard shots this guy was making with no training. There is no way anyone could do that, well yeah pretty much, but he wasn't taking 2000 yard shots, he was shooting into a crowd of 20,000+ from above at a bit over 450 yards, kind of changes the odd's a bit there.

Oh and my favorite one is how could he have wounded 500+ people, well he didn't I'm sure many of the injury's came from the crowd stampede toward the exits, and beyond.

It's weird how "far" it looks from the ground, but when I saw a home video from the suite below it didn't look very far at all. I guess it's just a trick of the eyes and size of the building.

And yes, I think quite a few were injured by the resulting stampede, but not as many as you would think. A friend of mine at the concert said that people were so packed in, the casualties so spread out, and the confusion of where they were being fired on from many people in the field kind of stayed put and hunkered down.

There's a really good video compilation out there putting all video angles sequentially on the screen at once. You could see a lot if confusion. I think the staff has some explaining to do on evac procedures, not just for active shooters or terrorism, but fires or other hazard situations.
