Nope, not legal in Ca. Expels a projectile through an explosive force, so it would be a firearm. -
Sims use a firearm. You simply replace the spring and barrel to a sims barrel that cannot fit live ammo.
So you would need a full auto gun in order to have a full auto sims platform
Thus- airsoftRule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

AR15s modified to shoot sim rounds still use same lower as ones that shoot real rounds. The ones ive shot had a different barrel, BCG, no gas tube (recoil operated), and probably weaker buffer spring. Other than that, everything else is same. Hence, illegal to own in CA, since you wont be able to have a full auto lower (since lower is the gun)Comment
