Describe the upper. Is it an AR pistol upper with just irons? 20" with glass, bipod, and a peq?

Never carry just an upper but any of my rifles with glass go into pelican cases

I've spent a few hours over 3 days looking for the perfect upper only case...

It should be able to handle a 16 inch AR upper with glass above
        and a bipod below (26 long X 5.5 high)

There's a pretty nice Condor (28X10) but the height is more than I need/want
and the outside pocket is again, more unwanted real estate

There's a pretty nice Uncle Mike's upper case (33X8) that has an attractive shorter height with Molle that is sewn inside allowing "anywhere placement" of securing straps...but the 33" inch length is off putting for an upper measuring only 26"

Ideally I'm looking for about 28X8 padded soft or hard...still searching...even other than weapon specific...cause I can cut custom foam if needed

Never considered this? Curiois what kind of scenarios do folks usually transport just uppers around? Competitions or training where you need multiple uppers? To a sale/trade?
            Thanks.
