    Which mag for 50 Beowulf

Has anyone used these mags? What is your experience?

Also looking at these mags. Can't decide on which one to get.

A few reviews of both products makes me sketchy about these. Some say the polymer is too weak and some say the metal ones ruin brass

I don't have a Beowulf but I do have a 458Socom and run mostly USGI style aluminum or steel mags. Polymer like the Magpul would be plenty strong but they have a reinforcing rib down the front centerline that keeps them from single stacking the big rounds. Can't speak for the ones in the link.
The steel/alu mags don't ruin brass. There may be a scratch or two from the feed lips but nothing gets ruined.
If it was me I'd go with the AA aluminum mags.

I second what Sputnik said. With aluminum or steel mags you can always polish the lips if they scratch your brass, I don't think you would have much luck with that on reinforced glass mags.

The Alexander arms ones are really nice steel construction. Made in Israel I believe.

I had a friend buy a 10 round 50 Beowulf magazine and I took some measurements out of curiosity, and it's similar enough to a 30 round 223 magazine that it may work if you were in Nevada or another free state. The Beowulf magazine is marked 10 round 50 Beowulf though so it is legal to purchase here in California, for 50 Beowulf uppers only.

Look for mod videos on how to set up Magpul mags. Mine work great.

I just run usgi Steel mags no mods at all for my 50 Beowolf . No problems at all . I swap the floor off my 7 rd Beowolf mag and the Usgi 30 rd 223/5.56 mags .

At those prices, buy two of each and see which ones work best.

Eh, as long as you have ammo/brass and the .50 upper with you I wouldn't worry too much about the markings. You can get the single stack followers that keep .223 from being retained by the feed lips if you want to be super duper careful, though I've never bothered myself. I think that would be better than a standard AR mag with a label if some LEO decided to be extra dickish.

Is 50 beowulf similar to 450 bushmaster?

Here's a 450 bushmaster follower that I got to use as a single shot follower for 223.

I use the 10-round Alexander Arms magazines for my Beo. They work great in the AR lower, and they are made specifically for that cartridge.

If you have a Beowolf mag the floor plate is stamped 50 Beo wolf . And what do you know that floor plate fits a 30 rd Gi mag .

Mother ****ing midway won't ship either mag to Cali. They say it's restricted. Even though it's 10 rounds

Buy them directly from AA, they'll ship them.

You sure? Had a friend buy them recently for his Beowulf upper and they shipped the 10 round mag to him.
