Which: S&B or Winchester in 45ACP?

Was headed to SGAmmo's website to get some more Sellier & Bellot .45 ACP FMJ 230 grain rounds. For the same price, they have Winchester FMJ.
I like the S&B, but for the same price is the Winchester better? I have shot Winchester white box 9mm before, and it all fired, but seemed very smoky.
    Which would you buy?

All my .45 pistols (including my P220) shoot S&B just fine. Even the "finicky" 1911's eat it.

I would go with Winchester brand .45 ammo , I always choose US mfg ammo before any eastern euro ammo, especially for a M1911A1

I only use eastern european / com bloc ammo in sks, ak's, maks, toks

Both are premium brands. For the same price, or even a little more, I'll always go with American made. Old school here.

I prefer S&B over the Winchester white box. Never an issue in any of my 1911's, P220 or 97B. To me seems much cleaner.

Indeed. And that's a great price SG has on that Winchester.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

Ah hell, whichever one is cheaper. They're both good to go. With all things equal, I like S&B because they pack in smaller boxes which makes storage easier.

S&B once fired .45acp brass doesn't hold a candle to the quality of W-W 45acp once fired brass.

I will take that as a clue.

So both are better than any reman out there. They are also both considered lower rather than premium ammo. For me, Winchester shoots dirtier. S and B is just a tad less so I would go that way. No noticeable difference in feeding and accuracy
