Glock 19 Gen5 Night sights......

Are the cutouts for Sights on the Gen 5 Glock 19 the same as all the other Generation Glocks? I just picked mine up Yesterday and was thinking about buying a set of Trigicon Hd's for it. Thanks in advance for Your responses and advice Guys......

The sights look standard Glock to me. I finally got a chance to fondle mine yesterday and put it in 10-day jail. I DROSd the G19 first.

What I want to know is where did your OG Gen 5 mags go OP? I got three factory Gen 5 mags with mine and my FFL is blocking them.

The Gen 5 mags have an orange follower, and also a baseplate that extends a bit farther forward to facilitate removal.

The thing feels awesome in the hand. The no finger grooves works well for me and the undercut just feels right. The trigger feels much better than Gen 3 or 4. The break is cleaner with no mush or grit as you start to hit the wall, and the reset feels shorter and much more tactile.

Also, you can tell with the very first touch that the finish on the slide is different. It feels slick, more like the old school frying pan finish.

Lol sorry, and Skyhawk and I Aren't trying to Brag by showing our pics. And Yes I do have evething it came with including the New Mags with the Orange followers, blocked to 10. I have other 19's and just threw the clear one on the table for the pic. Inside the Pistol is the New Mag. My Gen3 and Gen4 19 mags go in the Gen5 fine as well.

I'm curious if the mag guts will work ok in the gen1-4 mags, the base plate is also beveled btw. They seem easier to take apart than their predecessors too
Anyway, I want to try the new mag guts in some of my current 15 rounders

Ya the base plates did come off easily when the blocks were put in. All else inside look the same as 3-4 other than the orange follower
