Anyone else have problems with their Ruger case?

I recently bought this Mark ll, in it's original case, from a local shop. It is in excellent condition except for a few blemishes which seem to be caused by a couple of corners/edges where the gun rests while in the case. I have a GP100 that came in the same type of case. Should I worry? I circled the areas that might've caused the wearing. Is it possible that they were caused by the case? Blemishes are smooth and you can't feel anything like scoring or scratches.

I have seen that type of wear marks before on other Ruger .22 autos. I would advise you that the plastic case that comes with the pistol should be only be saved to give it to the next owner if you sell. I would use a padded gun rug or hard case that gives better finish protection.
The facoty case allows the pistol to rattle around and rub against the hard surface which may mark the surface.

Fold an oily piece of old t-shirt around it when you put it in the case, protect it from rubbing and rust at the same time
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.
