First announcement! FYI, just introduced a new FREE tool at AmmoGuide - a Ballistic Calculator.
Of course, one can enter ballistics directly into the tool for trajectory calculation, but the slick part is the integration with the 10,000+ loads on the site...
When viewing any detailed load page, just pressing the new "Trajectory" button will submit the load to the Ballistic Calculator. The website will even try to lookup the BC of the specific bullet used so you don't have to know/enter it. For example:
1. Go to http://ammoguide.com/cgi-bin/aiviewl...38&lid=5001594
- On the login screen you see, press the "Enter as DEMO" button
- You will then be looking at a load for the .45-70 Gov't.
2. Press the new "Trajectory" button just above the cartridge image.
- You will then be directed to the Calculator with the load data preset
3. Change any Ballistic Calculator environmental settings you wish.
4. Press the "Calculate" button at the bottom of the screen.
To go directly to the Ballistic Calculator Tool...
Enjoy,
Mike
