Happy to help. I used them to build a lower recently and they were great.

You might chat with your eye doctor as they can make a "computer" distance set of glasses.

If you measure at home the distance from your eye to your front sight, give this to the optometrist in inches.

They can write you an RX for computer glasses with the distance to the front sight as being the focal plane. This is much much further away than Reading glasses. They have a focal range of 1/2 the distance to your front sight.

If you had an eye exam within the past 9 months, they should re write the RX for free.

Have it filled anywhere.... that fits your budget.. have them made with safety polycarbonate lenses....

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Go to your local CVS, etc. and get yourself a pair of readers. Lot's of power options.

Order stick on magnifier ( I got mine from Cabela's) and cut a piece to fit top inside of glasses as that is the part you naturally sight thru .you will not even notice it's there when not looking for it

                  Wait, what???

That's brilliant! Thanks for the tip.....I think that's exactly what I need! I go to shoot and either I can see the sights and not the target with my readers on or I take them off and can see the target and not the sights. Found em for the same price with prime shipping from Amazo

                  Thanks!

Might also want to look into top focal lenses, where the prescription part is on top of the lenses instead of the bottom like regular bifocals.

SSP Eyewear offers a variety of magnification options for those who need bifocal or reader glasses. Our Magnification Guide provides detailed information.

Yeah, think I'll try this method out....always struggling with readers vs. target distance. Nice cheap way to try out.

PMed you on which you bought....

                        Stick-on lenses

I have worn progressive lenses for the last 15 years or so. My solution to be able to see the front sight is to use Optx 20/20 Hydrotac stick-on lenses. They are a small flexible lens that you can cut to fit your glasses. I put one in the upper inside lens of my dominant eye and that brings the front sight right into focus. They are removable and can be re-used.

The ones that Holt mentioned came today and are GREAT!!!!!

EXACTLY what I wanted. Nice wrap around to give some side protection.

I'll have to take them out in the AM when it cools off and see how well the work.

You will either get the sites in focus or the target, but not both. There is an elegant solution to this scenerio, it's called a scope.

Once your eyes get older and tired you will come to that realization eventually.
