    Sp101 grips

So I put a little brother for my Match Champion in jail. It's a spurless sp101 in .357 with night sights. What grips do you guys use for yours?

If you like fancy wood inserts for the factory grips, check out Altamont. They also make OEM grips for a lot of factory guns including Ruger.

They also have rubber replacement grips with a couple of different checkering options that you can use with their inserts.

ALTAMONT® offers replacement rubber SP-101 grips and custom insert options. Select a combo OR mix and match a rubber grip and set of insert

Third vote for Hogue Monogrips. They made my SP101 feel like it belonged in my hand instead of me struggling to grip it properly.

Crimson Trace. Why does everyone put over size grips on a "hide out" gun?

Because it isn't my hideout gun anymore. I have higher capacity, concealable pistols so my SP101 lives peacefully in one of the many secure, quick-access lock boxes I have in my home. In that role, the Hogue monogrip is an excellent modification.

I put some checkered walnut wood inserts in the stock rubber grip. Doesn't feel any different when shooting but damn does it look sexier. Seems like I'm in the minority but I have no problems shooting mine with the stock grip.
