Just a couple of weeks ago, Hungarian yellow-tip surplus 7.62x54R, stamped 1950. It worked well, which is good, since I still have about 350 rds in the open tin, and a full 440 still waiting to see fresh air.

I have got some very old stuff 100+ years old don't see why it wouldn't shoot ? Also have some(ball) 45acp from 1912 and a bunch of other early dates, loads of other calibers from the 20's 30's and 40's most of it looks pretty good, also some much older black powder stuff. Shooting it would be costly, I do have some 7.62x54r from 1938 and no gun to shoot it in, I don't think that Russian stuff has much value. If someone wants to get their 'rocks off' shooting that stuff let me know. If your in my(socal) area I may hand it some off to you.

Shot some WWII .30-06 through my Garand a few weeks ago at Jackson Arms. Shot just like my new stuff. It was pretty anti-climactic.

I shot some captured 9mm in the Luger that it was captured with in WWII. Neat stuff, a bit hotter than new 9mm and it was steel core.
